Mobile App Tester

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about mobile technology and dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of software quality. **Duties** * Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for mobile applications, ensuring coverage of functional, performance, usability, and security aspects. * Execute manual and automated testing procedures on Android and iOS devices, utilizing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. * Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and new features integrate smoothly without disrupting existing functionality. * Conduct API testing for RESTful services using tools like Postman or REST\-assured to validate data exchange between mobile apps and backend systems. * Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues through debugging and root cause analysis, and document defects clearly using defect tracking tools like Jira or HP ALM. * Collaborate with developers during the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) to ensure quality standards are met through continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines involving Jenkins or Azure DevOps. * Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), providing technical support and feedback to improve app performance and user experience. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms with a strong understanding of mobile testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks. * Solid knowledge of testing methodologies including functional testing, system testing, performance testing, load testing with LoadRunner or JMeter, and security testing. * Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C\#, or C\+\+ for scripting test automation scripts. * Experience working within Agile software development environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. * Strong understanding of APIs (RESTful Web Services), SOAP services, JSON/XML data formats, and related testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. * Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN; experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab is a plus. * Ability to perform SQL queries using MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PL/SQL for data validation during tests. * Excellent analytical skills for data analysis and troubleshooting complex issues; capable of performing root cause analysis effectively. * Familiarity with QA tools such as HP ALM or TestNG for test management and execution tracking. * Strong c
