The primary focus of this role is identifying qualified construction opportunities through construction bidding platforms, generating and submitting estimates, maintaining an organized pipeline of opportunities, and nurturing leads through follow-up communication. The client has invested in AI estimating software, so prior estimating experience is not required. Instead, the ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable speaking with clients, and enjoys helping generate new business opportunities.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.Scope of ServicesContractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:Lead Generation & Opportunity ManagementMonitor construction bidding platforms for projects matching the company's servicesIdentify qualified residential and commercial renovation opportunitiesResearch project details and determine which opportunities align with company capabilitiesMaintain an organized pipeline of active bids and opportunitiesAssist with ongoing lead generation and prospecting activities when neededAI Estimating SupportDownload project specifications and plans from construction bidding platformsUpload project documentation into the company's AI estimating softwareReview AI-generated estimates for completenessSubmit completed estimates to general contractors and project owners following established proceduresMaintain organized records of submitted estimatesClient Follow-Up & Business DevelopmentFollow up with prospective clients after estimates have been submittedConfirm receipt of estimates and answer general questionsBuild relationships with general contractors and project contactsDocument client feedback and next stepsEscalate pricing or negotiation discussions to ownership when appropriateAdministrative & Executive SupportMaintain tracking spreadsheets or CRM records of all submitted estimatesPrepare daily summaries outlining completed work, submitted bids, and lead activityTrack estimate status, responses, and follow-up requirementsAssist with general administrative support related to business development activitiesEach engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
