Job Title: Business Development – Sales (Northeast US & Canada Territory)Overview We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional with proven experience in the relocation industry. This is a remote position responsible for driving new business across the Northeast U.S. and Canada territory, with moderate travel requirements (20–30%).Key ResponsibilitiesTerritory Strategy & Prospecting: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and engage prospective clients within the assigned region.Lead Nurturing: Build strong relationships with prospects, assess business fit, and guide them through the sales cycle.Pricing & Profitability: Create competitive pricing strategies that align with company profitability goals.Proposal Development: Lead RFP responses in collaboration with technical writers and subject matter experts.Sales Presentations: Participate in client presentations, coordinate dry runs, and communicate win strategies.Contract Negotiation: Drive contract negotiations with support from the legal team.Client Onboarding: Ensure a seamless transition by partnering with client services and implementation teams.Special Projects: Manage strategic initiatives, trade conferences, and other projects as needed.Leadership & RepresentationRepresent the Sales team at industry events and conferences, leveraging supplier relationships and hosting company-sponsored events.Foster strong internal and external partnerships to deliver innovative solutions and exceed client expectations.QualificationsAbility to travel 20–30%.Minimum 2 years of successful experience selling outsourced services to multinational companies.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong presentation and networking skills (in-person and virtual).Expertise in new business development and consultative selling, including crafting tailored value propositions.Demonstrated ability to build and manage a robust pipeline, understanding client needs and pain points.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Originally posted on Himalayas
