**Fit2Grow CFO Solutions, LLC** *Supporting small and mid\-sized businesses with accurate, reliable financials* Fit2Grow CFO Solutions is expanding our service offerings and seeking a highly skilled **Bookkeeper (Independent Contractor)** to support our growing client base. We partner with small and mid\-market companies across professional services, IT consulting, hospitality, media, distribution, home services, and other industries, providing clean financials, accurate reporting, and operational clarity. If you’re detail\-oriented, dependable, and passionate about keeping books in impeccable shape, we’d love to work with you. Position: 1099 Bookkeeper Hours: Flexible, part\-time Pay: $20\-$30 per hour, depending upon experience Location: Remote (Northeast Ohio preferred and must be US based) **Requirements** * 1\-2 years of bookkeeping experience working with small and mid\-sized businesses * Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar software; Jonas Club or other point\-of\-service software, a plus * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without hand\-holding * Strong communication skills: responsive, professional, and clear * Reliable availability (TBD based upon client requirements and monthly close) * High level of integrity, confidentiality, and client\-service mindset * Professional appearance on client calls * Understands accounting concepts and how to interpret financial statements * Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Month end and year end close experience **Monthly Responsibilities** * Complete bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations by agreed deadlines * Record and categorize all financial transactions accurately * Maintain AR/AP ledgers and assist clients and vendors with inquiries * Pay bills and/or record payments * Process payroll and/or payroll journal entries (payroll is typically handled by 3rd party) * Prepare monthly financial statements * Identify and correct coding errors or misclassifications **Ongoing Responsibilities** * Communicate proactively with clients * Work within established checklists * Maintain organized supporting documentation * Support cleanup projects, catch\-up work, and system transitions * Collaborate with the CFO to ensure clean, accurate financials for client reviews * Other duties dictated by the client **We place a high value on:** * Confidentiality * Honesty and Integrity * Transparency * Responsiveness * Accuracy * Sense of Urgency * Professionalism * Curiosity * Accountability **What It's Like to Partner with Us** Fit2Grow CFO Solutions is built on strong communication, professionalism, accuracy, and service excellence.
