Currently, DeliverCareRx is searching for Pharmacists to work the overnight shift from our pharmacy located in Mount Prospect, Illinois. In this role, you would be scheduled for a weekly rotation (scheduled overnight for 7 days with the next week off). This is a hybrid role with 4 days on site and 3 days remote. This role is responsible for acquiring and dispensing prescriptions for hospice patients while ensuring medication therapy is appropriate for the patient. **Key Responsibilities** This position is ideal for those who love working in a fast\-paced environment with great attention to detail. Key elements of the role can include: * + Collaborate with co\-workers and other healthcare professionals to acquire and review prescriptions to determine appropriate medication therapy + Review and verify physician medication orders on a daily basis + Oversee medications prepared by pharmacy technicians + Provide Drug Utilization Review + Focus on quality assurance to correctly interpret physician orders and to prevent medication errors + Provide high quality customer service to patients and caregivers + Counsel patients and caregivers on medication therapy as needed + Utilize sound judgment to make appropriate decisions in the best interest of patients and the company + Provide rotating on call services to patients on an emergency basis + Assist with inventory functions including, but not limited to physical inventory, cycle counting, medication adjustments + Complete other duties as assigned **Required Skills and Abilities** * + Outstanding ethical personal character with commitment to compliance and integrity + Analytical and operational process skills + Judgment/decision\-making capability + Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize duties + Highly organized and efficient in a fast paced and growing environment + Superior customer service and relationship skills + Self\-motivated and energetic team player with a positive attitude + Working knowledge of computer technology for prescription management + Hig
