Public Relations Manager

**Job Title:** Freelance PR Specialist (Media Relations Focus) **Location:** Remote (New England\-based preferred) **About the Role:** A growing PR firm based in New Hampshire is seeking freelance support for media relations across a range of clients, including hospitality, lifestyle, nonprofits, and other industries. We’re looking for an experienced PR professional to help drive thoughtful, targeted media coverage. **Role Overview:** This is not a volume\-based pitching role. We’re looking for someone who understands how to craft strategic, tailored pitches that lead to meaningful placements—not mass email blasts. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and execute targeted media outreach strategies across multiple industries * Pitch local, regional, and national media with relevant, customized story angles * Secure earned media placements (digital, print, broadcast) * Write and distribute press releases * Identify and pitch the right writers for specific stories **Qualifications:** * 3\+ years of PR experience with a strong focus on media relations * Proven track record of securing media placements * Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or nonprofit PR is a plus * Strong writing skills (press releases, pitches, media materials) * Familiarity with tools like Cision, Muck Rack, or similar platforms * Ability to research and pitch specific journalists (no mass email blasting) **Additional Details:** * Freelance/contract role * Flexible hours * Opportunity for ongoing work based on performance Pay: $500\.00 \- $800\.00 per month Experience: * Public relations: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
