Veterinary Care Coordinator - Remote

To provide in\-home pet euthanasia services with compassion, empathy, and kindness in a way that supports both humans and animals during one of the most difficult, yet most loving moments of their journey together. Responsibilities: \- Coordinate and schedule complex at\-home appointments for multiple doctors \- Gather and input client and pet information using the Daysmart cloud program \- Guide clients through difficult decision\-making process of euthanasia \- Respond to client emails and return phone calls \- multi\-task and prioritize tasks \- Make follow\-up condolence calls to clients who recently had pets euthanized \- Attention to detail imperative \- Verify required documentation, update in charts to maintain records \- Excellent communication skills with clients/doctors/co\-workers a must Qualifications: \- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is MANDATORY. \- Live in the Greater Tacoma Washington area \- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures \- Ability to work effectively unsupervised at home and office \- Have personal cell phone/desktop/laptop with reliable internet \- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
