POSITION OVERVIEWdormakaba is seeking a remote Software Solutions Technical Specialist. The Software Solutions Technical Specialist will serve as dormakaba’s LGS (Lodging System) product expert, serving as a trusted resource for internal teams including Project Coordinators, Software Support, and Field Technicians. They will provide timely guidance and actionable solutions to resolve deployment-related issues efficiently. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding client satisfaction, project revenue, and delivery timelines.HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $55,000 - $60,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.WHAT YOU WILL DOProvide support for the installer hotline, addressing questions that arise during installationsManage incoming calls from field technicians, certified installers, and integratorsSupport the definition, development, installation, and testing of software systems and application Conduct remote software installations and deliver end-user training as neededCollaborate with the Project Coordinator to resolve technical escalations on projectsWHAT WE REQUIREBachelor’s degree preferably from a technical program or in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT Systems 2+ years’ experience in a support role, ideally within a call center or field service environmentProficiency with Microsoft Server and Client Operating Systems, SQL Server databases, and Microsoft Networking FundamentalsHands-on knowledge of DevOps toolchains, including frameworks for Android and iOS platformsWHAT WE PREFERKnowledge of iCloud services and cloud platforms; SaaS experience with Azure/AWS certification preferredMultilingual skills are an asset, particularly in French and SpanishPrior experience in training or teaching.Hands-on experience with access control, alarm systems, and related software.WHAT WE OFFERTaking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
