Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Part\-Time, Remote **Company:** A4 Accountant LLC **Location:** Remote – United States **Job Type:** Part\-Time \| Work From Home **Business Address:** 30 N Gould St., STE 4000, Sheridan, WY 82801 About the Role A4 Accountant LLC is seeking a qualified **U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)** to join our accounting and tax team on a part\-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in **U.S. accounting, individual and business taxation, financial statement review, and client communication**. This position involves reviewing work prepared by our accounting and tax team and communicating directly with clients when needed. Key Responsibilities * Review financial statements and accounting records for accuracy and completeness. * Review and submit **individual and business tax returns**, including federal and state filings. * Provide final\-level review of tax returns prepared by the tax team. * Identify tax, accounting, or compliance issues requiring additional attention. * Coordinate and conduct online meetings with existing clients. * Conduct initial meetings with prospective/new clients to understand their accounting and tax requirements. * Determine and communicate the **documents and information required** from clients for tax return preparation and bookkeeping. * Answer client questions related to accounting, taxation, and compliance. * Work closely with our bookkeeping and tax preparation team to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments. Required Qualifications * **Active U.S. CPA license required.** * Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state taxation. * Experience reviewing and/or preparing individual and business tax returns. * Experience with financial statement review and accounting. * Strong client communication and consultation skills. * Comfortable conducting professional meetings through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms. * Ability to work independently in a remote environment. * Strong attention to detail and professional judgment. Preferred Experience * Experience with QuickBooks Online and other accounting software. * Experience working with small and mid\-sized businesses. * Experience with Forms **1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120\-S**. * Prior experience reviewing work prepared by bookkeepers or tax preparers. * Experience working directly with business owners and individual tax clients. Work Arrangement This is a **part\-time, fully remote/work\-from\-home position**. The CPA will collaborate with A4 Accountant LLC's accounting and tax team and interact directly with clients through online meetings. **Compensation:** Competitive and based on experience, availability, and scope of responsibilities.
