Job Description

Our client, a global medical devices company, is seeking a Vice President, Clinical Affairs to lead enterprise clinical strategy across new product development, global submissions, and lifecycle evidence generation. This executive will shape the clinical affairs vision, build scalable operating models, and ensure clinical programs support business priorities, regulatory objectives, and product claims in a highly regulated environment.This is an ideal opportunity for a senior leader who can operate strategically and executionally, partner effectively across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Medical Affairs, and Commercial, and build high-performing teams in a matrixed global organization.Key Responsibilities Define and lead the global clinical affairs strategy across the product portfolio. Oversee clinical evidence planning for product development, market expansion, and lifecycle initiatives. Guide clinical study strategy, execution oversight, and external partner governance. Ensure clinical deliverables support regulatory submissions, product labeling, risk management, and post-market commitments. Partner with executive leadership on portfolio prioritization, evidence investment, and capability building. Lead and develop a distributed clinical affairs team while strengthening tools, processes, and governance. Support inspection readiness, audit response, and ongoing compliance with applicable regulations and standards.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, clinical, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Significant clinical affairs leadership experience in medical devices or another highly regulated product environment. Deep knowledge of clinical evidence generation, clinical operations, regulatory submissions, and quality/compliance expectations. Experience leading global, cross-functional teams and influencing executive stakeholders. Demonstrated success building scalable clinical organizations and improving operating rigor.Benefits$255,000 - $320,000 base salary, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive opportunity.
