Job Description
Marstel\-Day, LLC, an environmental consulting and planning firm, seeks one or more Mid\-Level Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Technicians/Engineers to support facility condition assessments associated with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) BUILDER SMS task orders and other engineering and project management activities. Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of three (3\) years of relevant experience in facility design, construction, operations and maintenance (O\&M), facility management, or related building trades. Candidates must be capable of interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and other design documentation; accurately identifying and assessing facility components and their condition; and utilizing BUILDER SMS and BUILDER Remote Entry Database (BRED) software for field data collection and inventory management. These positions are both part\-time and full\-time employment positions in support of various awarded task orders required for on\-site facility and utility condition assessments, data input into BUILDER SMS and project management assistance.
**FUNCTION/ROLE**
To support the completion of high\-quality comprehensive facility/utility condition assessments and comprehensive and detailed engineering evaluations for multiple on\-site assignments requiring 25\-30% travel to facility sites for up to two weeks per deployment. Manage the work assignments within the prescribed timelines and deliverables. Undertake project administrative support for schedule coordination, task tracking, and logistics planning are included in position role and responsibilities. Support engineering elements of other Company task orders generally and provide technical inputs to bids and proposals and business development efforts.
**Primary Duties**
* Evaluate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems to determine condition, remaining useful life expectancy, required replacement expenditures and/or remedial corrective measures.
* Complete comprehensive and high\-quality condition assessments and detailed engineering evaluations of varying building and utility types throughout the U.S and its overseas territories.
* Handle multiple assessment projects in a condensed timeframe.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and responsive project support.
* Identify and develop facility options to satisfy project objectives of client.
* Perform such other duties related to facilities assessment projects as a supervisor or assistant project manager when deemed necessary.
