QualificationsMaster Mariner or Chief EngineerKnowledge and/or ExperienceThe Project Marine Coordinator shall be experienced in handling/ managing offshore marine units operating in the oil and gas industry. 15+ years of marine and offshore installation experience primarily Offshore with onshore Operational/ Management experience. Broad and extensive knowledge of critical marine operations including Offshore Construction and JUB/ Rigs move activities. Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning Systems & Operations, DP FMEA Analysis, DP FMEA Proving Trials, Annual DP Trials, ASOG/CAMO. Experienced in managing Marine Assurance & Compliance processes, following corporate requirements and international standards. Knowledgeable in International Maritime Regulations, Codes and Standards. Experience within the Middle East region is advantageous. Previous Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and Marine Consultancy experience is advantageous (Preferably OVID accreditation). Originally posted on Himalayas
