Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionRepresent clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support/alimony, and prenuptial agreementsPrepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders across a high volume of casesAppear in court on behalf of clients as needed, presenting arguments clearly and persuasively even in emotionally charged situationsCollaborate with senior partners and paralegals to move files efficiently through the civil litigation processAnalyze complex family situations, develop strategy, and advocate effectively for each client's unique needsManage and maintain client files with accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detailHandle matters involving sensitive issues including child abuse, domestic violence, and high-conflict custody with professionalism and composureQualificationsActive Illinois Bar license requiredJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school4+ years of family law experience at a law firmDemonstrated success representing clients in divorce, custody, support, and related family law mattersExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong negotiation and advocacy abilitiesAbility to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress, emotionally sensitive situationsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseloadWhy You Will Love Working HereThis is a firm where the work is meaningful, the team is supportive, and you have the freedom to do your job from wherever you work best.
