The candidate will combine clear, strategic thinking with project management skills and dedication to compliance, to elevate solutions and approaches into proposal strengths and evaluated excellence. We are looking for an integral team player who works collaboratively with others, and who can also work independently, coordinate projects, develop and learn new skills, and maintain communication with various stakeholders while working on multiple simultaneous projects. The primary responsibilities encompass proposal management and content development activities, sales material development, knowledge management, and research and analysis.Key Responsibilities:Support pursuit management team from opportunity identification through awardCollaborate with Capture and Solutioning team members to fully understand client desires and solutions and translate those into compelling proposal contentDevelop the proposal management plan and manage to that planManage and coordinate document control for filesResponsible for identifying, planning, and allocating resource support. Write and prepare pursuit support artifacts including white papers, presentations, and marketing collateralLead proposal development efforts to provide clear, compelling, and compliant written responses that incorporate win strategiesLead oral proposal development efforts to provide clear, compelling, and compliant presentations, graphics, and scripts that incorporate win strategies win themes, and discriminatorsDevelop proposal schedules, outlines, color review documentation, kick-off documentation, and compliance matricesAssess proposal content for integration and consistency of strategies, win themes, and discriminators across sections and volumes.Work with graphics professionals to manage the development of high-quality and impactful proposal graphics and presentationsCollaborate with business and functional leadership for proposal support and directionSupport the archival of sales and proposal contentPerform all other duties as assignedWork Environment:Location: RemoteTravel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%Working Hours: StandardBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of experienceExperience with GSA AAS (FEDSIM) and other complex proposals for large efforts (>$200M)Strong work ethic with the willingness to work overtime on short noticeStrong project management skills in team facilitation, as well as managing resources and schedulesExcellent communication/presentation skills including exceptional persuasive writing skillsMust be willing to learn new skills, technologies, and adapt to changing needsSuperior organization and follow-through skillsStrong interpersonal skills and analytical abilityMotivation to identify problems, propose solutions, and act independentlyExcellent business acumen skillsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and assignmentsAbility to lead and work together as a team, either in a support role or as a project leaderAbility to translate objectives into a schedule and series of activities to meet the requirementsFrequent travel may be required, around 25%.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with SharePointMust be a US citizenDesired Qualifications:Experience with generative AI and large language modelsReady to Make a Difference?If you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
