Bookkeeper — Full-Time, In-Office (Tampa, FL)

Dapper Bookkeeping is a Tampa\-based bookkeeping firm serving the home service industry — specifically businesses running ServiceTitan as their CRM. We're growing, and we're looking for our next rockstar bookkeeper. ***This is a 100% in\-office position in Tampa, FL. Hours are 8:15am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This role is not remote or hybrid, and we are only considering candidates who can reliably work on\-site every day.*** **About the Role** You'll own a portfolio of clients from daily transaction entry through month\-end close. That means you're comfortable juggling multiple books at once, you catch your own errors before anyone else does, and you're on the phone and email with clients every day. If you like working shoulder\-to\-shoulder with a team that talks through the tricky entries together, you'll like it here. **What You'll Do** * Maintain client financial records by recording daily transactions in QuickBooks Online * Perform cleanups in ServiceTitan and QuickBooks Online * Manage A/R, A/P, and payroll * Apply double\-entry bookkeeping to keep financial reporting accurate * Prepare bank reconciliations, verify account balances, and resolve discrepancies * Process journal entries and account reconciliations to keep financials current * Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting * Close the books and quality\-check the data before it goes to the client * Communicate with clients daily on questions, requests, and open items * Organize and file source documents needed to support accurate records **What You Bring** * Proficiency in QuickBooks Online * Strong grasp of double\-entry bookkeeping principles * Hands\-on experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations * Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Ability to work independently *and* as part of a team while managing multiple clients * Critical thinking and a real commitment to accuracy * Excellent people skills — client communication is a daily part of this job * Reliable daily availability for in\-office work in Tampa, 8:15am – 5:00pm **Nice to have:** experience with ServiceTitan or another field\-service CRM, and experience in a multi\-client firm environment. **Why Dapper** We're a fun, motivated team that puts clients first.
