As a remote professional, you’ll coordinate between shippers, carriers, and clients to optimize transportation solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries. Your proactive approach and passion for logistics will drive success in this fast\-paced environment! **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and clients to foster trust and repeat business. * Manage transportation planning by coordinating freight shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other CRM software tools. * Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms with carriers and clients to secure optimal pricing and service levels. * Generate leads through proactive outreach, inside sales efforts, and leveraging data entry for lead generation activities. * Oversee the entire freight process from dispatching to delivery, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and other industry standards. * Utilize EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and AS400 systems to streamline communication and documentation processes. * Monitor shipment status, troubleshoot issues promptly, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in supply chain management, transportation management, or logistics sales. * Strong knowledge of 3PL (Third\-Party Logistics), NVOCC (Non\-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and freight forwarding operations. * Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), CRM software, EDI, and AS400 platforms. * Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer\-centric mindset for account management and B2B sales. * Ability to handle data entry accurately, manage contracts effectively, and perform transportation planning efficiently. * Knowledge of FDA regulations related to freight handling is a plus. * Demonstrated ability in inside sales, lead generation, dispatching, pricing strategies, and transportation sales.
