No confusion.We show up, set up, and keep your site running, so you can stay focused on the work thatmatters.Simple - Reliable - Done RightPosition SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support thefinancial operations of our growing organization. Reporting directly to the Chief AccountingOfficer, this role will assist in managing the accounting function, ensuring accuratefinancial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting budgeting andforecasting activities. This position requires a proactive problem solver and self-starterwith strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and a continuousimprovement mindset.Key Responsibilities•Assist in overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.•Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.•Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.•Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls.•Coordinate and support external audits and tax-related activities.•Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.•Monitor general ledger activity and account reconciliations.•Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increasedefficiency.•Support cash management and working capital initiatives.•Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.•Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business objectives.•Assist with ERP system enhancements and financial reporting tools.•Bring a comfort with technology to the role, recommending tools and improvementsto the Chief Accounting Officer and helping implement them to streamlineworkflows.•Assist in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) todocument key accounting processes and promote consistency.Qualifications•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting•CPA, CMA, or other higher education degree/designation is preferred.•5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisoryresponsibilities.•Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.•Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.•Public accounting experience is a plus.•Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.•Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.•Live in and around the Greater Austin area.
