ResponsibilitiesAltour has an exciting opportunity for an experienced meetings and events program professional! The Centre of Excellence (CofE) Regional Meetings & Events Program & Technology Manager is responsible for the governance, administration, adoption, and continuous improvement of a global Meetings & Events program for a global chemical manufacturing customer. Acting as a key partner to leadership and stakeholders, the role oversees operations, user support, compliance monitoring, reporting, training, and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with corporate policies, governance requirements, and approved operating processes.The role also serves as the primary owner and administrator of the Meetings & Events tool, currently Cvent, with responsibility for tool governance, user access, reporting, data integrity, workflow management, and system enhancements. Through data analysis, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, the role identifies opportunities to improve program adoption, compliance, operational efficiency, and overall performance while serving as an escalation point for tool-related and other issues.Meetings & Events Program Support & GovernanceSupport the day-to-day administration and operation of the global Meetings & Events programPartner with leadership and key stakeholders to support successful execution and adoptionSupport governance activities, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, and escalation managementSupport communications and change initiativesSupport the implementation and enhancement of Meetings & Events operating processes and standardsPlatform Ownership & AdministrationServe as the primary administrator for Cvent, including event templates, workflows, integrations, user permissions, and system settingsMaintain and continuously improve platform governance, data standards, and reporting frameworksOversee user access management, role permissions, and platform security controlsAct as the primary escalation point for platform-related issues, client requests, and enhancement requirementsCommunicate platform updates, new functionality, and system changes to regional CoE Managers and program stakeholdersTraining & Change ManagementDeliver onboarding and training for US stakeholders and internal ALTOUR meeting plannersDevelop and maintain training materials, process documentation, user guides, and best-practice resourcesSupport program adoption and change management initiativesPromote awareness and understanding of program requirements, processes, and toolsCompliance Monitoring & Policy SupportMonitor adherence to Meetings & Events policies, corporate requirements, and approved operating proceduresTrack compliance with preferred suppliers and approved sourcing processesIdentify, document, and escalate policy exceptions and non-compliance trendsSupport governance reviews and compliance reporting activitiesSupplier Program ManagementPromote adoption of preferred suppliers and approved sourcing channelsMonitor supplier utilization, performance and compliance trendsIdentify opportunities to increase program adoption and optimize supplier performanceSupport supplier performance reviews and reportingData Management, Reporting & AnalyticsProduce operational, management, compliance, and adoption reports.Provide recommendations to improve program effectiveness and user adoptionSupport KPI tracking and performance measurement.Key DeliverablesEnd-user support services and issue resolutionStakeholder onboarding and training User guides and process documentationMonthly operational, compliance and governance reportingAdoption and utilization reportingPreferred supplier reportingSupport for quarterly service reviewsContinuous improvement recommendationsQualifications7–10+ years in Meetings & Events operationsMinimum 5 years’ experience supporting event technology platforms, with significant experience administering and managing CventExperience managing platform configuration, user administrat
