Bookkeeper

**Overview** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Sacramento Craft Collective and its affiliates operate profitable and fully\-compliant cannabis businesses in the state of California (CCCL19\-0005002\) across cultivation, manufacturing and distribution. **We are a Quickbooks\-based organization, so expertise with QBO is a must\-have for this opportunity.** In this vital role, you will manage the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all accounting functions. Your expertise will support our financial health by maintaining precise bookkeeping practices, preparing financial reports, and assisting with various accounting processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organization committed to excellence and integrity in financial management. **Responsibilities** * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date general ledger accounts, including account reconciliation and journal entries, interfacing directly with our CEO. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. * Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies. * Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Conduct payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements. * Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and general ledger accounting to support strategic decision\-making. **Qualifications** * Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within corporate or non\-profit sectors. Experience in cannabis, agriculture or manufacturing is a plus. * Strong proficiency with Quickbooks (experts only, please). * Solid understanding of best\-practices and fundamental financial concepts such as debits \& credits, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis. * Experience with governmental accounting practices and tax experience is a plus. Again, especially as it relates to cannabis (specifically in CA). * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately. * Familiarity with payroll processing, budget management, and technical accounting tasks. * Strong organizational and communication skills.
