Localization Project Manager

We are looking for someone passionate about languages and cultures, and who is interested in a long-term career with us. As a Project Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment and act as the bridge between our clients and our freelance translators or interpreters. The ideal candidate has experience in translation, localization, project management, and customer service.Responsibilities:Perform evaluation of costs and prepare project budgets and quotes for clientsCoordinate all the project phases and efficiently predict the lifespan of all the stages of the project, through an achievable deadlineUtilize tools such as Plunet for time tracking and take full ownership of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring accountability, efficiency, and successful delivery from start to finish.Adhere to applicable policies and proceduresAnswer client queries thoroughly via chats, phone calls, and emails on timeReports activity in group chats and actively communicates with peers on tasks being worked onNegotiate deadlines and rates with freelancers based on HR freelancer databasesEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with freelancers globallyMonitor and control project statusManage project finances, including budgetingPerform quality checks at various stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final eye)Handle freelancer queriesRequirements:Experience in project management, business administration, and customer serviceKnowledge in Localization for the Localization Project Manager roleKnowledge and experience using CAT tools like Smartcat and MemoQKnowledge and experience using Translation Management systems like TradosUniversity degree in Business Administration, Translations, or any relevant field is preferredAdvanced verbal and written communication skills in English (Native or C1) and fluency in a foreign languageStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and multitaskExcellent cross-cultural and interpersonal communication skillsStrong sense of professionalism and politenessTo be considered for this position, you’ll need to:Submit your application.Complete the Emotional Intelligence and Wonderlic assessment after submitting your application.Both steps are required to move forward in the evaluation process.
