💵 Compensation:B2B €300–€500/day orEmployee Contract with a gross salary between €50,000 and €60,000 per year (for candidates based in Portugal)Note: All applications (CVs)must be submitted in English.💥 Your ImpactIn this role, you will:Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions following Data Vault 2.0 methodologyDevelop and optimise Hubs, Links, Satellites, PIT, and Bridge tablesLead conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling activities across multiple initiativesDefine and promote data architecture standards, modelling guidelines, naming conventions, and documentation practicesEnsure scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability of data warehouse architecturesProvide technical leadership and architectural guidance to Data Engineers and development teamsDrive the standardisation and automation of ELT processes, metadata management, and deployment practicesCollaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Governance teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutionsSupport reporting and analytics teams by delivering optimised and business-ready data structuresImplement and promote best practices related to data governance, lineage, metadata management, and DataOpsDefine and enhance monitoring, validation, and observability processes across the data platformEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the overall data architecture landscape⚡ What Makes This Role ChallengingYou will work with complex enterprise data ecosystems that require scalable and maintainable architectural solutionsThe role demands deep expertise in Data Vault 2.0 and the ability to apply modelling standards consistently across multiple initiativesYou will balance long-term architectural vision with immediate business and delivery requirementsThe position requires close collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into effective data modelsYou will drive governance, quality, and standardisation efforts while enabling innovation and scalabilityThe environment combines modern cloud data platforms, large data volumes, and evolving business needs👤 What We’re Looking ForMust-havesMinimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehouse environmentsProven expertise in Data Vault 2.0 modelling and architectureStrong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data Warehouse solutionsAdvanced SQL skills and strong data modelling expertiseExperience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks (DBT, Airflow, etc.)Strong understanding of:Data GovernanceMetadata ManagementData LineageMaster Data Management (MDM)DataOps practicesExperience providing technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesFluency in EnglishMust be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for PortugalNice-to-havesData Vault 2.0 certificationExperience with event-driven or real-time data architecturesKnowledge of Python and/or Scala for automation and data engineering activitiesExperience mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives, or guiding architecture communitiesExposure to cloud-native data platform architecturesExposure to international or multicultural projectsExper
