All our session leads are handpicked through a rigorous selection process so that we can truly be #studentfirst.
As a Session Lead/Instructor, you will be meeting virtually on a weekly basis with your students for group work, activities and short lectures. During the week, students are expected to study an estimated 10 hours on their Nanodegree programs on their own, and you will be expected to respond to their technical questions and check-in with them to make sure they are making progress. Required skills/qualifications:Fluency in English is a mustTechnical competence:Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including core principles, critical security controls, best practices, and the ability to evaluate risks, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.Strong understanding of GRC frameworks and the ability to identify concerns, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Excellent knowledge of security engineering concepts, including risk evaluation, cryptography, security reviews, audits, and planning/designing security architectures to mitigate risks effectively.Familiarity with designing secure network architectures, implementing Zero Trust Models, and building secure environments in platforms like Azure, as well as setting up SIEM systems for continuous monitoring and alerting.2+ years of working experience related to the above skillsetsGraduate from any of the Cybersecurity courses/Nanodegree programs is an added plusExperience teaching technical concepts and public speakingStrong interpersonal skills and confidence to lead a group of studentsStudents-oriented mindset and focus on understanding their problemsInnovative approach and proactivity with students that need helpPositive character, trusted by the students, creating emotional ties in the groupExisting tech network and experience in technical conversations & discussionsFlexibility at their current job to take this challenge as a part-time, external contractorResponsibilities:Managing weekly Checkpoint sessions with students according to Udacity guidelinesCoordinating between the students and the Udacity Connect teamReporting to Udacity the weekly overall attendance status of students & observations about each sessionExplaining concepts of the Nanodegree program to your group of students when neededSolving questions raised by students during the Checkpoint sessionReporting student attendance and progress to the Mentor's dashboardCommunicating with students on community platformWhy should you apply?
