**Remote Telemedicine Physician — Scheduled Phone Visits \| Multi\-State Licensure** **Location:** Remote **Job type:** 1099 Independent Contractor **Remote Telemedicine Physician — Scheduled Phone Visits** Wasef Health is a physician\-led national telemedicine provider group seeking experienced MDs and DOs to provide scheduled telephone consultations through one of our partner platforms. We are currently expanding physician coverage in several states with limited provider availability. **Highest\-Priority States** Our most immediate need is for physicians licensed in: * Georgia * Arkansas * Mississippi * Tennessee * Virginia Physicians holding active licenses in two or more of these states will receive the highest priority. **Additional High\-Need States** We are also actively seeking physicians licensed in: * North Carolina * South Carolina * Louisiana * Texas * Wisconsin * Alabama * Missouri * Ohio * District of Columbia These states represent current or anticipated areas of increased coverage need. Depending on the state and platform workflow, consultations may include scheduled telephone visits, asynchronous consultations, or a combination of both. Candidates should hold active licenses in at least **two states from the combined target\-state list**. Physicians licensed in multiple target states—particularly Georgia, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Virginia—will be prioritized. **Role Overview** The primary purpose of this opening is to increase scheduled phone\-visit coverage. The majority of consultations involve GLP\-1 medical weight management and related wellness services. Visits are completed by telephone rather than video. Physicians who hold licenses in additional states may also have access to asynchronous consultations. Async work is optional and may be completed outside of scheduled phone\-visit availability. The number and type of consultations available to each provider depend heavily on the states in which the physician is licensed and current patient volume. **Primary Responsibilities** * Complete scheduled patient consultations by telephone. * Review patient intake forms, medical history, medications, and relevant clinical information. * Determine eligibility and appropriate treatment plans. * Identify contraindications and escalate clinical concerns when necessary. * Complete documentation and prescribing when clinically appropriate. * Follow Wasef Health and platform\-specific clinical protocols. * Communicate professionally with patients and the clinical support team. * Maintain reliable attendance during submitted scheduled availability. * Complete asynchronous consultations when desired and available. **Schedule and Availability** We are looking for physicians who can provide at least: **20 hours per week of scheduled phone\-visit availability** Additional availability is strongly preferred.
