You will be hired directly by the client, typically as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.Who The Client Is: a specialized surgical practice based in Melbourne, Victoria, focused on providing comprehensive oral and maxillofacial care. Founded by experienced surgeons, the clinic offers a wide range of services including orthognathic surgery, dental implantology, facial trauma management, and TMJ treatment. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality patient care through modern systems, efficient processes, and a patient-focused approach.Role Overview: is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Admin / Patient Coordinator to support the daily operations of the practice. The clinic is run by two surgeons, and has been steadily growing, currently receiving around 60–70 referrals per week.This role will primarily focus on backend administrative support and referral processing. While the position is initially non-patient facing, there may be opportunities in the future to assist with initial patient booking calls.Key Responsibilities:Process and input patient referrals into the practice management systemGenerate and prepare X-ray request slipsSend patient information packs and required documentsMaintain accurate patient and referral recordsAssist with general administrative and coordination tasksSupport the surgeons and clinic operations as neededRequirementsPrevious experience in administrative or healthcare support roles preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable learning and using practice management software (Xestro)Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiencyReliable internet connection and suitable remote work setupBenefitsWork Arrangement & Expectations:This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client workReflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)Originally posted on Himalayas
