Senior Product Designer (Remote)Overview:Senior Product Designers at Weedmaps are motivated team players with a deep understanding of user-centered design, and a passion for creating experiences people love.In your day-to-day, you will identify, evaluate, and improve critical user journeys – making quantitative and qualitative-informed design decisions. Weedmaps is a mobile-first and data-first company, where all projects and initiatives are backed by research, thoroughly tested, and designed for our native app users. You must be able to communicate the rationale for and approach for your design work in the form of verbal and written communication, user flows, wireframes, hi-fi comps, interactive prototypes, and proper documentation. As a Senior resource, you will be expected to come to understand the business’ needs and goals, and tightly align your work accordingly. At Weedmaps, you’ll have opportunities to work on industry-shaping products on both web and mobile apps.Join a team of creatives passionate about cultivating a culture of creativity and collaboration in alignment to Weedmap’s mission to foster business solutions, social reform, and equal access to cannabis!The impact you'll make:Enthusiastically champion design thinking and collaboration throughout the companyCollaborate with Product, Data, Research, Engineering, and other teams to identify needs, define requirements, discover solutions, execute, and shipAlign design decisions with business goals while crafting world-class user experiencesDistill complex problems into discrete components with actionable solutionsMaintain, guide, and push the boundaries of our design systemPrototype and test interactions and user experiences objectively and without biasUse both qual and quant data and analytics to make informed decisionsActively participate in group critiques by both providing and receiving thoughtful, constructive feedbackCollaborate with research partners and product managers to participate in discovery and usability studies, ensuring design work is grounded in user insights.Create design artifacts including but not limited to: information architecture diagrams, user flows, user stories, use cases, research plans, wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypesWhat you've accomplished:5+ years of professional experience with end-to-end product designA strong portfolio showcasing examples of human-centered designs, with clear indication of your specific contributionsAbility to lead or work independently on medium-to-large sized projectsExperience designing and conducting usability testsExperience using analytics to make informed, data-driven decisionsExperience working with design systemsMeaningful experience in B2C eCommerce and/or B2B SaaS is a huge plusBonus points: Strong work ethic, sense of accountability, self-management and collaborationEffective communication skillsKnowledge of front-end coding concepts such as HTML5 / CSS / JavaScriptExperience with Design Thinking and Design SprintsKnowledge of and passion for the cannabis industry is a huge plusThe base pay range for this position is $130,386 - $163,606 per year 2026 US Benefits for Full Time, Regular Employees:Physical Health (Medical, Dental & Vision)100% employer-paid premium for employeesUp to 80% coverage for dependentsCompany HSA contribution with the High Deductible Health Plan401(k) Retirement Plan (employer will match contribution up to 3.5% of employee contribution)Basic Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance optionsSupplemental, voluntary benefitsStudent Loan Repayment/529 Education Savings with a monthly company contributionFSA (Medical, Dependent, Transit and Parking)Voluntary Life and AD&D InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceAccident InsuranceShort- and Long-term Disability InsurancePet InsuranceIdentity theft protectionLegal access to a network of attorneysPTO, paid sick leave, and company holidays (including a 2026 holiday shutdown)Paid parental leaveWhy Work at Weedmaps?Life at Weedmaps means innovation and heart.
