Job DescriptionGeneral Motors is seeking a Project Manager to support the GBST Incentives portfolio. In this role, you will drive planning, execution, and cross-functional delivery for key incentives initiatives, including Connected Incentives, CIMS and Claims-related work, Fleet incentives integration, and transformation efforts tied to OTDS and VBARS decommissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project planning and execution across a portfolio of incentives initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and delivery milestonesBuild and manage integrated project plans, milestone tracking, RAID logs, decision logs, and executive-ready status updatesPartner with business, IT, product, finance, SAP/OTDS, Connected Incentives, CIMS, Claims, and testing teams to align scope, timing, readiness, and issue resolutionDrive refinement of business requirements and user stories to support development, testing, deployment, and change readinessIdentify risks, remove roadblocks, escalate issues proactively, and support timely, data-driven decision makingCoordinate cross-functional testing, implementation readiness, production support, and hypercare activitiesSupport transformation efforts that improve incentive processing, dealer experience, operational efficiency, and platform modernizationInfluence outcomes across teams without direct authority by building strong relationships, facilitating alignment, and maintaining momentumOwn project timelines, deliverables, and dependency management for assigned GBST Incentives workstreamsFacilitate recurring project meetings, stakeholder reviews, working sessions, and leadership readoutsTranslate broad business challenges into structured execution plans that can be delivered by cross-functional teamsMonitor progress against scope, schedule, and milestones, highlighting variances and recommending recovery actionsSupport release planning and coordinate readiness across requirements, development, testing, communications, and business validationUse data and analysis to communicate tradeoffs, support decisions, and demonstrate project valueHelp strengthen project delivery discipline, processes, and team coordination across the broader incentives functionRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5+ years of relevant experience.Significant project or program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiativesStrong experience managing multiple workstreams, timelines, stakeholders, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment on significant mattersProven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct people leadershipStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for both working teams and leadership audiencesExperience with project planning, issue and risk management, dependency tracking, and status reportingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify options and recommend actionable solutionsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery modelsExperience translating business requirements into user stories and supporting refinement with technical teamsExperience coordinating UAT, release readiness, and production issue resolutionKnowledge of dealer-facing or enterprise process transformation effortsWhat Will Make You SuccessfulYou are organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguityYou bring structure to complex challenges and turn them into executable plansYou build trust quickly and work effectively across business and technical teamsYou communicate clearly, escalate thoughtfully, and keep stakeholders alignedYou stay focused on delivery while balancing detail, risk, and business outcomesWhy Join This TeamThis role offers the opportunity to help shape and deliver critical incentives transformation work at GM. The GBST Incentives portfolio is actively supporting Connected Incentives, Fleet integration, CIMS, SAP/Claims, and modernization efforts that improve how incentives are managed across systems and processes.Location: This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, Milford or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.
