Software Project Manager

This is a remote position.We are looking for a Senior Software Project Manager to lead the delivery of complexsoftware development projectswithin a large international financial services environment. The role focuses on managing the fullsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC), coordinating developers, architects, QA teams, and technical leads, and overseeing project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and software releases withinAgile/Scrum environments. The consultant will collaborate closely with international stakeholders and technology teams across theUS, Ireland, Poland, and other locations, ensuring effective communication, alignment of business and technical objectives, and successful delivery of software solutions. Responsibilities Manage software development projects from planning to delivery Coordinate developers, QA teams, architects and technical leads Work with international stakeholders, particularly in the US and Ireland Manage project timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies Coordinate software releases, testing and implementation Report project progress to international IT management Work within Agile/Scrum delivery environments Requirements Strong IT / Software Project Management experience Experience managing software developers and technical teams Previous experience in a large global organisation Experience coordinating projects across multiple countries and time zones Strong understanding of software development and SDLC Agile / Scrum experience Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Fluent English Nice to have Payments, banking or financial services experience Global Shared Services / GBS / SSC experience Experience working directly with US and Ireland teams Experience with international technology delivery centres PMP / PRINCE2 certification Benefits Fully remote work model Solid, competitive salary Work in a multinational environment on international projects Comprehensive healthcare Long-term B2B contract with a stable project pipeline Originally posted on Himalayas
