Job Description
Clario is seeking an experienced medical and scientific leader to drive the strategic and long-term medical and scientific capabilities of the respiratory business. This role is responsible for determining, articulating, and executing vision, mission, strategies, and tactics across the business unit and global operations to enhance the relevant scientific expertise both internally and externally.What We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off, company holidays, and paid parental leaveFlexible work arrangements where applicableWhat You’ll Be DoingSupport and maintain scientific expertise in client interactions, including the proposal writing and sales process, customer visits for protocol design and review of study results, FDA panel meetings, expert advisory meetings, etc.Manage relationship with key opinion leaders in scientific communitiesAssist in scientific training of study personnelMaximize scientific excellence and scientific value of studies to ensure quality and integrity of all project deliverablesPromotes bookings growth by ensuring appropriate scientific coverage for protocol/RFP reviews, capabilities meetings, bid defenses, and face-to-face meetings with clientsGuide and help prioritize the product roadmap to deliver more value for our sponsors, patients and studiesSupport identification of new product enhancements and opportunities leveragingDefine, develop and execute medical and science affairs network of professionals for scale and differentiated clinical supportContinually pursuing demand generation initiatives focused on existing or novel capabilities Support the expansion of relevant BU services through science and scientific offeringsFrequent liaisons with sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs), and investigator sites' staffHelp others to achieve resultsMaintains Professional and Technical Knowledge by:Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored trainingAttending educational and professional training workshopsBenchmarking state-of-the-art and best practicesPerform other duties as assignedWhat We Look ForMedical Degree RequiredPharmaceutical and/or medical industry experienceCommunicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all internal and external customersInteract with all customers appropriately and professionallyRelevant scientific research experience within area of expertiseEstablished record within area of expertiseClinical Trial management and operational experienceOrganization and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPositive, results-oriented track recordSelf-motivated, flexible and adaptable to business needsPractical and technical knowledge of therapeutic areaAbility to lead team and direct sponsorsExcellent attention to detail and orientation toward meticulous workStrong documentation and organizational skillsAbility to project and maintain a professional and positive attitudeDemonstrated leadership and communication skillsAt Clario, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
