Transcriptionist

**Job Summary** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable Transcriptionist to convert audio and video recordings into accurate written documents. The ideal candidate has excellent listening skills, strong grammar and spelling abilities, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. **Responsibilities** * Listen to audio and video recordings and transcribe content into written documents. * Review and edit transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and formatting. * Identify speakers and accurately capture dialogue and context. * Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and recordings. * Meet productivity and turnaround time requirements. * Conduct research to verify terminology, names, and technical language when necessary. * Follow company transcription guidelines and quality standards. * Communicate with supervisors regarding unclear audio or project requirements. **Qualifications Required** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Excellent English listening, writing, and proofreading skills. * Strong typing skills (minimum 60 WPM preferred). * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and transcription software. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. **Skills** * Audio transcription * Proofreading and editing * Time management * Data entry * Written communication * Attention to detail * Confidentiality and discretion * Computer proficiency **Compensation \& Benefits** * Competitive pay based on experience. * Flexible work schedule. * Remote work opportunities (if applicable). * Training and professional development opportunities. * Performance\-based incentives (if applicable).
