We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Loan Funder to join our team.General Job InformationThe ideal candidate for this position has a strong eye for detail and a keen sense of accuracy in preparing and reconciling closing disclosures, preparing closing documents and ordering funds for closing. Effective time management is very important. Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships and communicate effectively with title companies, branch managers, loan officers, and processors. Be organized and be part of the Team. Must have flexible hours and be willing to work when work needs to be done. An ideal candidate takes their job seriously, is very organized and detail oriented, has good computer and great customer service skills and enjoys working in a positive Team environment.Principal ResponsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to:Create accurate Closing DisclosuresObtain borrower, title company and Loan Officer approvalPrepare and deliver on time closing package to settlement agentOrder funds for closingConfirm funds receipt 24 hours before closingField incoming calls and correspondenceEnhance relationships with title companies, partners and clientsBe responsible for duties as assignedReview and clear Compliance Alert (Mavent) fails/warningsClear Funding conditionsComplete closing instructions for settlement agentEnsure compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations and guidelinesMonitor and meet daily/monthly funding goals and deadlinesRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience with a variety of loan products (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, DPA’s)Experience and proficiency with Encompass Loan Origination SystemStrong understanding of TRID regulations, CD balancing, and loan documentationPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Accurate data entry and good computer skillsStrong communicator with interpersonal skillsStrong collaboration and organizational skillsPositive attitudeAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesSound judgment skills and prudent deductive reasoning skillsHigh levels of integrity and a strong work ethicBi-lingual/Spanish speaking a plus but not required (please note on resume)What We Offer:Competitive salary (please include salary requests with your application)Health, dental, and vision insurance available day 1Company paid Life insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance4010(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO) + Paid HolidaysCareer growth opportunities and continuing education supportSupportive, collaborative remote team cultureJob Type: Full-time Location: Corporate office is located in Cincinnati.
