Job Description
About D10 Signs \& Graphics
For over 20 years, D10 Signs \& Graphics has been the signage partner general contractors call when a project can't afford a miss. We fabricate and install commercial signage — wayfinding, ADA, dimensional letters, illuminated cabinets, monuments, and full building identity packages — for some of the largest construction firms in the Pacific Northwest, and we're actively expanding across the Southeast.
We run lean, we run modern, and we run on systems. Our project pipeline is fully digitized, our team is distributed by design, and we've built our reputation on hitting install dates that other sign companies quietly slip.
The Role
We're hiring a **Project Manager** to own commercial signage projects from contract award through final closeout. You'll be the single point of accountability between our general contractor clients, our fabrication partners, permitting authorities, and our install crews.
This is not an order\-taking role. You will own schedules, budgets, and margins on your projects.
What You'll Do
* Manage a portfolio of active signage projects from award through closeout
* Prepare, submit, and track submittals, shop drawings, and product data packages
* Coordinate sign permit applications and navigate AHJ review cycles
* Source and schedule fabrication vendors; track production milestones and lead times
* Coordinate installation crews and subcontractors, including site access and safety documentation
* Serve as primary point of contact for GC project teams — RFIs, change orders, schedule updates
* Track project budgets and gross profit margin; flag scope creep and issue change orders promptly
* Maintain accurate project data in our project management platform (monday.com)
* Manage project closeout: as\-builts, warranties, O\&M documentation, final billing support
Who Thrives Here
We have a phrase internally: **"Beat the Greet."** It means the update is already sent before the GC picks up the phone to ask for it. The permit issue is flagged before it becomes a schedule problem. The problem shows up in an email from you, with two solutions attached, before anyone has to come looking for you.
If you're someone who waits for the assignment, this will be an uncomfortable place to work. If you're someone who finds the gap and closes it without being told, you'll do well here and you'll be noticed quickly.
What You Bring
**Required**
* **3\+ years** of project management experience in signage, commercial construction, millwork, glazing, or a related specialty trade
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and finish schedules
* Working knowledge of the submittal / RFI / change order process on commercial jobs
* Vendor and subcontractor coordination experience
* Strong written communication — you'll live in email with GC project engineers
* **Genuinely tech\-forward.** We run on cloud project management software, shared documents, and automation. You should be the person wh
