Job Requisition ID #26WD94792Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Jira and Confluenceto help us scale and optimize our engineering collaboration ecosystem. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, performance, and securityof our Atlassian Cloud environment while driving best practices and user adoption across the organization.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and optimize Atlassian Cloud products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence) to support agile delivery and knowledge managementConfigure workflows, automation rules, permissions, and integrations to meet evolving business needsProvide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Jira and Confluence, addressing user-reported issues, permissions, and configurationsRespond to ad-hoc queries via Slack and other platformsCreate and maintain internal and customer-facing technical documentationGuide and support customer implementation projects and enhancement requestsManage user access and security settings in compliance with organizational policiesMonitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issuesImplement governance and standardization for projects, spaces, and templatesCollaborate with engineering and product teams to improve processes and enhance user experienceSupport cloud migration and hybrid deployment strategiesMaintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articlesEnsure compliance with internal security and audit requirementsParticipate in change management and incident response processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sprint goals and continuous improvementsStay current with Atlassian Cloud updates and features, ensuring timely adoption of improvementsMinimum Qualifications4+ years in IT support and customer engagement. - Must have3–5 years of hands-on experience administering Jira and Confluence in enterprise environments - Must haveStrong understanding of Atlassian Cloud and Data Center architectures - Must haveProficiency in JQL, REST APIs, and automation toolsFamiliarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication abilitiesExperience with Linux, Bash, and Unix command lineExposure to DevOps practices and public cloud environments (AWS preferred)Comfortable working in agile and scrum-based teamsPreferred QualificationsProven experience as a Jira and Confluence Administrator in Atlassian Cloud environmentsStrong understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, automation, and advanced configurationsExperience with Confluence space management, permissions, and macrosFamiliarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps and integration with third-party toolsFamiliarity with AI-powered features in Atlassian toolsHands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS)Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or GroovyExperience with PostgreSQL and Jira add-on developmentExposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolingKnowledge of data migration strategies from on premises to cloud (preferred)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAtlassian Cloud certifications for system & Org adminsExperience with API scripting or automation using Atlassian REST APIsUnderstanding of ITSM practices and Agile frameworksLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $97,600 and $168,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
