In this role, you will work closely with subject matter experts across multiple departments, including engineering, product, customer success, and sales. Your goal is to produce clear technical documentation for our products and services that can be understood by our entire client base, from new end users to developers. Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, FAQs, API documentation, SOPs, and release notesReview and edit existing documentation to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and effectivenessEnsure content adheres to company guidelines, including branding and style guide standardsCollaborate with SMEs to produce detailed but comprehensible technical specifications for client use as well as internal documentationTranslate complex technical concepts into easy to understand language and imagesWork in cooperative cross-department communication alongside Lead Technical Writer to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or similar field3 - 4 years of experience in technical writing or procedural writingProven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentationFamiliarity with use of CMS and version control programs, preferably GitFamiliarity with use of Atlassian tools for project managementFamiliarity with word processing tools, including GSuite, Word, and AdobeBasic understanding of cURL, Markdown, and PythonBasic understanding of RESTful API standards, including JSON outputAbility to work multiple projects and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail, with particular attention paid to proofreading skills and ability to catch and correct obscure text in technical writingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with B2B SaaS industry standards and expectationsExperience with Agile workflows a plusDisclaimer: HeadSpin does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment or selection process.
