**About Interior Design Business Academy** Interior Design Business Academy (IDBA) is a premier coaching and education platform for interior designers, founded by award\-winning designer and business coach Terri Taylor. Since 2009, IDBA has helped hundreds of designers build 6\- and 7\-figure businesses through online coaching programs, a top\-rated podcast, CEU\-accredited courses, and a library of business tools and resources. We are a small, high\-impact team and this role will have direct visibility with leadership and meaningful ownership over the company's organic growth strategy. **Position Summary** We are looking for an experienced SEO \& Content Strategist to own and execute the organic search strategy for interiordesignbusinessacademy.com. This is a hands\-on implementation role — not a purely advisory one. You will be responsible for technical SEO fixes, on\-page optimization, keyword\-driven content creation and editing, and off\-page authority building. This role is ideal for someone who loves the full picture of SEO: equal parts analytical (keyword research, GSC data, schema markup) and creative (content strategy, copywriting, blog optimization). You will work directly inside WordPress/Elementor, configure SEO plugins, and produce or direct content that drives measurable organic traffic growth. **Key Responsibilities** **Technical SEO** * Audit, configure, and maintain the SEO plugin (Yoast or Rank Math) across the WordPress site * Submit and monitor XML sitemaps in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools * Implement structured data / schema markup (Organization, Course, Person, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList) via JSON\-LD * Conduct crawl audits to identify and resolve indexation issues, broken links, and redirect chains * Audit and optimize Core Web Vitals: image compression/WebP conversion, caching plugin setup, CDN configuration * Review and optimize robots.txt, canonical tags, and Open Graph/social meta tags * Identify and resolve duplicate content issues, including thin pages and URL inconsistencies **On\-Page Optimization** * Write and optimize meta titles and descriptions for all core pages (target: under 60/160 characters respectively) * Audit and rewrite H1/H2/H3 heading structures to align with target keywords * Add descriptive, keyword\-relevant alt text to all images site\-wide * Build and maintain a keyword\-to\-page mapping document (keyword matrix) * Conduct ongoing keyword research using Ahrefs, Semrush, or Google Keyword Planner * Identify and resolve keyword cannibalization across blog and service pages **Content Strategy \& Production** * Develop and execute a content pillar/cluster strategy targeting high\-value keywords * Write or edit long\-form blog posts (800–2,000\+ words) optimized for target search queries * Create keyword\-rich show notes pages for podcast episodes * Optimize existing blog posts for search intent, internal linking, and readability * Create an FAQ page eligible for FAQPage
