This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact through strategic fundraising and resource development. **Responsibilities** * Research and identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and nonprofit organizations that align with our mission. * Develop comprehensive grant proposals, including narrative content, budgets, and supporting documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness. * Manage and maintain detailed records of grant applications, deadlines, and correspondence using databases and similar tools. * Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposal development and ensure alignment with organizational goals. * Monitor grant progress through reporting requirements, financial reports, and compliance documentation to ensure timely submission and adherence to funder guidelines. * Edit and proofread proposals for content quality, consistency, and technical accuracy while maintaining a compelling narrative tone. * Cultivate relationships with funders through strategic communication efforts to enhance ongoing support and future funding opportunities. **Experience** * Proven experience in grant proposal writing within nonprofit or community organization settings. * Strong background in fundraising strategies, particularly within government agencies and nonprofit foundations. * Demonstrated expertise in contract management, database management, and content editing. * Knowledge of nonprofit program development, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial report writing. * Excellent research skills combined with persuasive writing abilities to craft compelling proposals that stand out to funders. * Experience managing multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high\-quality work standards. * Familiarity with technical writing, proofreading techniques, and content editing to ensure clarity and professionalism in all documents.
