Director, Field Medical Excellence & Operations is a remote/field-based scientific expert responsible for communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, providing medical and scientific information on the appropriate utilization of therapy(s), and advancing therapeutic disease state knowledge. The Assoc. Director/Director, Field Medical Excellence & Operationsis a core member of the Medical Affairs Team, leveraging a scientific approach aligned with medical affairs objectives and therapeutic area medical plans.The Assoc. Director, Field Medical Excellence & Operationswill be experienced, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, specifically with product launch planning, rare disorders, or underdiagnosed patient populations. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive field medical strategy plan, planning coverage and attending conferences, conducting trainings for field medical team and other cross-functional counterparts, delivering scientific presentations, and scientific exchange with physicians and other healthcare providers. This role will be critical to compliantly evolving field medical initiatives, analytical reporting (insights and field activity), content development, conference coverage, and training for new hires across the organization.This position reports to the National Head, Field Medical Affairs, and will require extensive travel, sometimes involving weekends.Key ResponsibilitiesAssigned responsibilities for the Assoc. Director, Field Medical Excellence & OperationsPartner with Head of Medical Affairs to define field medical strategy, HCP engagement plans, and coverage approach to meet company-defined goals within corporate and regulatory guidelines for products both marketed and in developmentAssist with development and implement frameworks for field effectiveness, including KPIs, activity metrics, and qualitative impact measuresSupport field medical launch readiness (territory design, targeting, resource planning)Support and drive coordination of a robust conference plan, coverage, and reporting with an expectation to attend and providing active coverage/reporting for global/national/regional conferencesMaintain clinical/technical expertise in specific therapeutic areas; review scientific journals, attend scientific and key technical meetings in territory and share learnings with key stakeholdersOperations, Insights & AnalyticsEvolve and manage core operational systems (CRM, insights platforms, dashboards)Establish scalable processes for field planning, interaction reporting, and complianceDesign and operationalize a field insights generation, reporting and dissemination modelPartner cross-functionally (Clinical, Commercial, HEOR) to synthesize insights into actionable recommendationsAssist with developing reporting dashboards to track trends, engagement quality, and strategic impactTraining & CapabilitiesPartner with Medical Training to identify capability gaps and support ongoing development of the field medical teamCreate tools and resources to improve field execution (e.g., engagement guides, scientific narratives)Fostering a team culture of accountability and develop a proactive approach to growing skillsetsEnsure high quality presentations and interactions through quantitative and qualitative field medical data trackingFostering a team culture of accountability and develop a proactive approach to growing skillsetsDeveloping relationships with various healthcare professionals and providing them with credible, fair, balanced, scientific information about product development, research activities, and therapy(s)Be a extended source of balanced medical information for HCPs and will be skilled in issues management and addressing unsolicited questions about safety and potential off-label use of products based on available scientific dataCareer Development:BridgeBio/QED offers comprehensive career deve
