Bookkeeper — Insurance Brokerage

We are a busy, growing insurance brokerage looking for an experienced **Bookkeeper** to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail\-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working independently, keeping financial records organized, and helping a growing company build efficient systems. We are expanding rapidly, and there is potential for **additional hours in the short term and increased responsibility as the company continues to grow.** **Proven professional experience with QuickBooks is required** **Key Responsibilities** * Manage **accounts payable and accounts receivable** * Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts * Process invoices, payments, and credit card reports * Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation * Monitor transactions and ensure records are complete and up to date * Assist with routine bookkeeping and financial reporting * Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records * Maintain organized accounting documentation for easy reference and reporting * Work closely with management to support the company's financial operations **Special Project — New CRM Accounting Platform** A significant component of this position will be helping establish and organize the **accounting platform within our new CRM system**. The initial setup is expected to take approximately **60 days** and will include organizing accounting processes, establishing the appropriate workflows, and ensuring the system is properly configured for ongoing bookkeeping operations. This is an important project that will give the successful candidate an opportunity to play a key role in improving and developing our company's financial systems.
