Manager, Technology - SAP FI (ECC & S/4 HANA CFIN)

Provide management within a responsible technical area through operations and change-the-business. The specific responsible technology area may consist of multiple technology functions within a specific technology focus, including at least one of the following: software engineering, platform system development, information security, enterprise architecture, infrastructure (including data center, network, and telephony), and/or PMO-Program/Project Management. Provide a platform for continuous technical improvement and transformation to better meet GTS and business needs.Provide direction to the team on a daily basisAddress and navigate technical issues, anticipating and preventing impending issues Problem solve beyond the scope of an individual team member to optimal outcomeConsistently meet commitments within the expected timeframe with minimal direction Partner with deliverable stakeholders to inform others of technical impediments, updates, and progress in relation to timelines or SLAsProvide detailed technology functional planning supporting the overlaying strategies of GTS and business direction for technical infrastructure, architecture, application systems, and/or related business processes within the technical functional area, and ensure proper functioning and cohesive implementationDrive and adopt incremental and step-function change within technical groups and adjacenciesEngage in planning to meet operational, daily, and quarterly goals; plan and execute department-level technical projectsDetermine and develop best technical practices, sometimes in relation to business proceduresIdentify and mitigate operational and strategic risk Engage Team and Peers in technical opportunity identificationRemain current on new technology and methods to ensure state-of-the-art and cost-effective solutions to business processesCoordinate training to ensure all departmental staff have appropriate skill sets and receive appropriate information/instructionEnsure effective communications are maintained across technical functional areas and externally as necessary; where appropriate, involve senior-level management and employees in plans, and keep up to date on progress towards meeting goalsMonitor expenses to ensure the technical area’s costs are within established levelsJob SpecificationsTypically has the following skills or abilities:Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of direct reportsComprehensive knowledge of the primary technology area, preferably within a healthcare environmentAbility to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job dutiesPreferred SkillsDeep experience with SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance, MDG, and Finance data replicationProven leadership of large‑scale SAP S/4 CFIN/Finance transformation programsStrong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and enterprise integration platformsExperience leading multi‑vendor, global delivery teams and complex partner ecosystems in an SAP S/4 CFIN landscape with ancillary finance systemsCompensation range for the role is listed below.
