We pride ourselves on the impact we have on the early childhood field through supporting teachers who are doing the most important work there is, teaching children to become creative, confident thinkers.Position OverviewTeaching Strategies is seeking an experienced Enterprise Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new enterprise growth within the Private Child Care (PCC) sector. This senior-level role focuses on expanding strategic relationships with large multi-site child care chains and franchises by delivering high-impact SaaS solutions that improve instructional quality, compliance, and operational outcomes. Roles involves identifying, structuring, and negotiating complex technology partnerships and managing the full deal lifecycle from strategic analysis through closing. The Enterprise BDM reports to the Manager of Enterprise Sales and can be remote, with travel up to 30% to key customer and industry events.Specific Roles & Responsibilities:Own and expand a portfolio of named strategic PCC accounts representing $500k+ in ARR potentialDevelop, manage, and close complex SaaS sales cycles spanning 6–12 months, from discovery to contractBuild strategic account plans and land-and-expand playbooks aligned to customer business goalsGenerate pipeline through direct outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and close collaboration with ABM and SDR teamsEngage executive-level stakeholders including CEOs, COOs, CAO’s, and CTO’sLead RFI/RFP responses, procurement navigation, and negotiation of pricing, terms, and co-term structuresCollaborate with Product, SME’s, and Partner Success to shape solutions and ensure delivery readinessMaintain disciplined forecasting and CRM hygiene in Salesforce, including pipeline coverage and close date accuracyPresent customer business cases using program-specific data (e.g., licensing alignment, QRIS impact, staff outcomes)Identify regional or state-level grant and subsidy trends to support compliance-forward sales positioningParticipate in pilot program design, center-level rollouts, and stakeholder enablementServe as a voice of the customer in cross-functional planning and product feedback loopsQualifications:5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, including 2+ years selling to education, ECE, or regulated service providersProven track record of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual quotas in complex, multi-stakeholder dealsStrong consultative selling, strategic account planning, and executive presenceProficiency in Salesforce, and Salesloft (or similar)Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and multi-site rolloutsMission-aligned with Teaching Strategies’ goal of improving outcomes for children and educatorsWhy Teaching StrategiesAt Teaching Strategies, our solutions and services are only as strong as the teams that create them.
