For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.Who The Client Is: A Melbourne-based FMCG business with three fast-growing consumer brands distributed nationally across David Jones, Myer, Priceline, Woolworths, Coles, and Big W. They help businesses develop and refine brand identity, customer experience, and retail strategy. The founders are experienced operators who move fast, hold high standards, and expect the same from their team.You will be joining a hands-on, founder-led business where good work gets noticed and the scope of your role grows with your results.Role Overview: We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who can own the full marketing execution cycle across all three brands. You'll work directly with the founder and take responsibility for two mission-critical functions: Klaviyo email marketing and paid digital advertising (Meta/Google). You'll also support light-touch website updates and campaign coordination.This is a great opportunity for someone who thinks in campaigns. You understand that a promotional push means aligning the EDM strategy and execution, the paid ads, and the website all together, and you can execute on all three.Key Responsibilities: Email Marketing (Klaviyo)Build, manage and send EDM campaigns across multiple FMCG brandsSet up flows, automations, and segmentation inside KlaviyoQA all links, formatting, and renders before every sendCoordinate campaign timing to align with paid ads and website updatesPaid AdvertisingPlan and execute Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaignsReporting/analytics as a bullet under Paid Advertising Think strategically about audience segmentation and campaign objectivesMonitor performance and make optimisation calls independentlyBrief or produce ad creative assets where neededWebsite and Campaign CoordinationMake regular updates in Shopify or equivalent: banners, product tiles, UGC contentUpdate PDPs and homepage assets to reflect current campaignsEnsure website, paid ads, and EDMs are aligned for every campaign rolloutSocial and Community SupportSchedule and publish content across platforms using scheduling toolsRespond to comments and DMs in a brand-aligned voiceManage community engagement across three brand accountsRequirementsRequired Skills and Qualifications:3-5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing.Proven Klaviyo skills: you've built flows, run campaigns, and understand segmentation.Paid ads experience: Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads, end to end.Experience with Shopify.Strong communication skills and written English.FMCG, e-commerce, or retail brand experience strongly preferred.Comfortable working across multiple brands simultaneously.Proactive self-starter who asks the right questions and gets on with it.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, or Meta Business Suite.Basic graphic design or Canva skills for campaign assets.AI tools in your workflow (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).Work Arrangement & Expectations:This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client workReflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)Originally posted on Himalayas
