BRCGH refers to BRC Group Holdings, Inc. and/or one or more of its subsidiaries or affiliates.We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr Portfolio Manager to join our Wealth Management team and assume management of a $200 million portfolio of mutual funds and ETFs spanning a number of portfolios, both with and without alternatives, aligned to each model's specific investment objectives. This individual will report directly to the EVP, Head of Relationship Management and will serve as the primary steward of portfolio construction, ongoing management, and internal distribution of the model portfolios to the firm's financial advisors. The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000.Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Portfolio ManagementAssume management responsibility for a $200MM multi-asset portfolio of mutual funds and ETFs across 12 model portfoliosConstruct and maintain strategic and tactical asset allocations consistent with the objectives of each model, with and without alternativesConduct ongoing due diligence on fund and ETF holdings; evaluate replacements and new additions as neededMonitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and market developments; execute timely rebalancing decisionsPrepare detailed investment reports and portfolio reviews for internal stakeholders and advisorsAdvisor Relations & Internal MarketingServe as the internal champion for the model portfolios, proactively marketing them to the firm's financial advisorsDevelop and deliver compelling presentations, commentaries, and materials that clearly articulate each model's strategy, positioning, and performanceBuild strong working relationships with advisors to drive adoption and address portfolio-related questionsContribute to broader firm strategy on products and servicesTranslate complex investment concepts into accessible language tailored to advisors and clientsResearch & StrategyPerform due diligence on ETFs and mutual funds with accompanying documentation and publicationStay current on macroeconomic trends, capital markets, and the evolving mutual fund and ETF landscapeIdentify opportunities to enhance portfolio construction, fund selection processes, and model designEducation, Experience and Skills Required:8+ years of experience in portfolio management or investment management, with direct experience managing multi-asset model portfoliosDemonstrated expertise in mutual fund and ETF selection, due diligence, and portfolio constructionExperience with or exposure to alternative investment strategies within a model portfolio contextExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to financial advisors and clientsSelf-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independentlySound investment judgment, high integrity, and discretion with sensitive client and firm informationPreferred QualificationsCFA designation (or equivalent)CAIA, CFP, or other relevant designationsExperience within a family office, RIA, broker-dealer, or wealth management environmentFamiliarity with advisor-facing distribution or internal wholesalingExperience with research tools such as FI360 and Morningstar Advisor WorkstationBRCGH employees enjoy competitive salaries, access to our 401(k) profit sharing retirement plan and our other benefits including paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave, voluntary group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and company paid life and disability coverage.Originally posted on Himalayas
