It is an essential part of the core infrastructure enabling next generation services in data centers, artificial intelligence, 5G wireless infrastructure, data networking, autonomous vehicles, and solid-state storage.What You’ll Do Run behavioral channel simulation and analysis of high-speed wireline analog/DSP SERDES for 100G+ PAM4 standardsModel complex analog blocks, such as Transmitter, FFE, CTLE, DFE, and CDRsContribute to Architecture definition for SERDES links for several standardsDevelop and deploy tools for analog / validation teams to speed up design and debugWork with state-of-the-art optimization and machine learning algorithms for chip optimizationContribute to and help develop adaptation algorithms for a variety of equalization techniquesPerform sensitivity analysis and regression simulations for various link conditionsWork with internal silicon engineering team to help perform system performance correlation between behavior models and siliconWhat You’ll NeedMasters/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Engineering Science5+ years of experience is preferredPrevious experience with modelling critical SERDES blocks such as Transmitter, FFE, CTLE, DFE, and CDRsStrong programming skills in MATLAB, C/C++, scripting skills in Python, Tcl, PerlExperience working with PCIe and/or Ethernet SerDes specificationsIt’d Be Amazing If You HadIBIS-AMI modelling experienceFamiliarity with PCI-SIG, IEEE 802.3 and OIF standardsAbout YouExtremely detail orientedSuperb analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsAble to listen to and appreciate ideas and opinions that differ from yoursDrive for consistencyTakes personal pride in high standard of outputsSelf-motivated and self-managingSalary and BenefitsYour contribution will be recognized with a base salary within the range of $115k to $155k for Staff, $135k to $185k for Sr Staff and $165k to $225k for Principal level annually as It is influenced by your qualifications, experience, location, and the internal equity of our team to ensure fairness and consistency across roles.
