Community Moderator

**Job Overview** We are seeking an energetic and detail\-oriented Community Moderator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline guardian of our online communities, ensuring a positive, engaging, and respectful environment across Twitch, Discord, YouTube, Kick, X, and other platforms. Your responsibilities will include monitoring chats, enforcing community rules, and taking appropriate moderation actions when necessary. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with online communities and content creators. **Responsibilities** * Monitor and moderate user\-generated content across Twitch, Discord, YouTube, Kick, X, and other platforms. * Enforce community rules and guidelines consistently. * Know how to use moderation tools, including **banning, muting, timing out, kicking, warning, and deleting messages/comments** when necessary. * Identify and remove spam, harassment, hate speech, scams, inappropriate content, and other violations. * Issue warnings and take appropriate action against users who violate community guidelines. * Respond to community members professionally and help resolve basic issues. * Monitor live streams and Discord channels for rule violations in real time. * Escalate serious or repeated violations to senior moderators or management. * Work with content creators and other moderators to maintain a safe and welcoming community. * Keep accurate records of significant moderation actions when required. **Qualifications** * Previous experience with Twitch, Discord, YouTube, Kick, X, or similar platforms. * **Must understand how to use common moderation tools, including bans, timeouts, mutes, kicks, warnings, and message removal.** * Strong understanding of online community guidelines and moderation practices. * Ability to make quick and reasonable decisions during active livestreams. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to remain professional when dealing with difficult or disruptive users. * Reliable and able to follow scheduled moderation hours. * Previous experience moderating a Twitch, Discord, or YouTube community is preferred.
