Job Description
Parento is redefining paid parental leave in the U.S. We partner with employers and benefits brokers to deliver the first fully integrated parental leave insurance and support program. We’re hiring a Broker Sales Executive to build and grow our broker channel across the West Coast and Mountain regions. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role focused on developing broker relationships, creating pipeline, and closing new business. You’ll work directly with brokers, consultants, and PEO partners to bring a differentiated, mission-driven benefit to market - and play a key role in scaling a fast-growing, VC-backed company.What You’ll DoBuild and manage relationships with benefits brokers, consultants, and PEO partnersGenerate pipeline through broker partnerships and outbound effortsOwn deals from initial introduction through closeExpand Parento’s presence across key brokerage networks in the West & Mountain regionsPartner with internal teams to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategyTrack activity and performance metrics to continuously improve resultsWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, PEO or HR-related salesExperience working with or selling through benefits brokersExisting relationships with brokers strongly preferredProven ability to generate pipeline and close new businessComfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environmentStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter with a high level of ownership and accountabilityData-driven and results-orientedLocationRemote, preferably based in the West Coast or Mountain regionCalifornia strongly preferredCompensation & Benefits$140,000–$150,000 OTE (base + commission)Equity packagePaid parental and family leaveOpportunity to help expand access to paid parental leave across the U.S.Fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment with real ownershipWhy ParentoWe’re building a category-defining company at the intersection of insurance, benefits, and social impact.
