Rise Up Music Group is an independent record label focused on artist visibility, music marketing, outreach coordination, branding, networking opportunities, and long\-term artist development.
The company has received recognition from The Source Magazine and has worked with artists across multiple markets through radio campaigns, blog placements, playlist outreach, showcases, campus outreach, and artist development systems.
We are currently looking for interns throughout the Northeastern region of the United States to assist with artist development support, outreach coordination, music marketing tasks, and entertainment industry operations. While this posting is focused on the Northeast market, interns may work with artists and opportunities across multiple cities and regions depending on company campaigns, artist activity, and ongoing development initiatives.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Interns assist with artist outreach, submissions, opportunity research, campaign support, and artist visibility efforts across multiple areas of the music business.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands\-on experience in:
* artist development
* music marketing
* entertainment outreach
* campaign coordination
* artist relations
* music business operations
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
This is an 8\-week internship and training program designed to provide hands\-on experience inside the company’s artist development structure.
Interns will:
* receive weekly assignments and objectives
* assist with active artist campaigns
* support artist outreach efforts
* complete submissions and opportunity research
* work within company systems and workflows
* collaborate with artist development and operations staff
Weekly classes help interns better understand:
* artist development
* music marketing
* outreach systems
* music industry communication
* relationship building
* campaign coordination
* artist professionalism
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Responsibilities may include:
* Blog outreach submissions
* Playlist submissions
* College radio outreach
* College campus activity outreach
* Showcase and open mic research
* Artist opportunity research
* Artist follow\-up communication
* Tracking outreach activity
* Updating spreadsheets and Connecteam systems
* Supporting artist campaigns
* Assisting with artist visibility and networking opportunities
* Researching promoters, venues, and entertainment opportunities
* Helping organize artist development activity
