**Remote Certified Medical Assistant (RCMA) – PART\-TIME, NON\-EXEMPT** **SHIFT:** Weekend Days 8:00 AM \- 8:00 PM **LOCATION:** Remote MedStreamline is seeking a compassionate, professional, and highly motivated Remote Certified Medical Assistant (RCMA) to support residents and healthcare teams within long\-term care and senior living communities. In this role, you will monitor patient vitals online, provide real\-time alerts to healthcare providers, and assist with virtual patient care coordination. This is a fully remote position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, technology\-driven healthcare environment. **Essential Functions** * Track and review patient vitals remotely, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels through remote monitoring systems. * Identify abnormal readings and escalate critical alerts to healthcare providers following established protocols. * Communicate with the Director of Nursing (DON) or Wellness Director, physicians, CNAs, and other medical professionals as needed to ensure timely patient interventions. * Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and company policies to ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information. * Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects assigned by management to support business and operational needs. **Minimum Qualifications** * Active CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), or RMA (AMT) certification required. LPN/LVN/RN licensure may be considered in lieu of CMA certification * Minimum 1\+ years’ experience as CMA, 2\+ years preferred * EMR systems: 1 year * Vital signs: 1 year * Excellent technical skills * Strong time management skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Confident and Adaptable * Ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team * Ability to thrive in fast\-paced work environment in a growing company * Experience with Google Workspace preferred **Work Environment and Expectations** * Fully remote position performed from an approved home workspace. * Dedicated, HIPAA\-compliant workspace required to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality. * Reliable high\-speed internet connection required. * Daily interaction with healthcare providers, facility staff, and internal teams via phone, video conferencing, and electronic communication platforms. * Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and responsiveness. * Active CMA certification through AAMA, NHA, or AMT required. * Ability to maintain a professional, distraction\-free home office environment during scheduled work hours. * Ability to attend virtual meetings and training sessions as required. **Physical Requirements** * Ability to sit for extended periods while performing remote patient monitoring, documentation, data review, and virtual meetings. * Ability to operate computers, dual\-monitor workstations, telephones, headsets, and other office equipment. * Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movement
