Empower Yourself.As a Financial Planner within Empower's dedicated services model, you will provide comprehensive financial wellness and retirement planning for our Large to Mega client base. You will play a critical role in guiding participants throughout all phases of their financial life, delivering tailored advice and solutions that meet their long-term goals. This role emphasizes client engagement, relationship building, and delivering expert consultations aligned with Empower’s mission of financial empowerment.What you will doDeliver certified, comprehensive financial plans as part of a dedicated team model for large and mega Empower customersEngage participants in needs-based conversations to understand financial goals and recommend appropriate solutions, including Empower products and servicesProvide education and guidance on all aspects of retirement readiness: managed accounts (My Total Retirement), rollovers, investment allocations, savings strategies, HSAs, distribution options, and broader financial wellness topicsAct as an Investment Adviser Representative for Advised Assets Group, reviewing client portfolios and recommending strategies using Empower’s managed account servicesDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with participants, leveraging the CONSULT model to personalize each client experienceConduct proactive outreach to current and former providers on behalf of participants to implement financial decisionsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of interactions using Salesforce and other internal systemsActively participate in training sessions and staff meetings, sharing knowledge and best practices across the teamEducate clients about and enroll them into Managed Account solutions when appropriate.Support long-term client relationships by delivering a high-touch, distinctive service experience both pre- and post-retirementWhat you will bringBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience (MBA preferred)Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification requiredFINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations requiredLife insurance license required (must be obtained within corporate-established timelines)FINRA fingerprinting requiredMinimum 3 years of experience in financial services or the 401(k) industryAt least 2 years of direct experience in financial planningDemonstrated ability to assess a client’s complete financial picture across investments, insurance, tax planning, education savings, and estate considerationsWhat will set you apartStrong client consultation skills with a professional, composed approach during interactionsExceptional communication, organizational, and presentation abilitiesProactive, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentProven ability to deliver multi-product sales goals while navigating complex client needsComfort with digital tools and platforms; skilled at working in a paperless, cloud-based, and remote-service environmentAbility to quickly establish trust and build long-term relationships that drive client successExperience using CRM tools like Salesforce and financial planning softwareStrong commitment to financial education and empowering clients to make confident decisions#PJPW***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.***What we offer youWe offer an array of diverse and inclusive benefits regardless of where you are in your career.
