Remote Tax Preparers and Remote Tax Assistants Needed

**Overview** Remote Tax Express is seeking motivated individuals interested in developing professional tax preparation skills. No prior professional tax preparation experience is required. Comprehensive pre\-season training is provided to prepare selected candidates to accurately prepare individual income tax returns, use professional tax preparation software, provide excellent client service, and follow required tax compliance and due\-diligence procedures. **Responsibilities** * **Prepare individual income tax returns accurately and efficiently following Remote Tax Express procedures and required tax compliance standards.** * Learn and utilize professional tax preparation software through RTE's comprehensive training program. * Review financial documents, including income statements and other relevant records. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and explaining tax\-related information clearly. * Support marketing efforts by engaging with potential clients and promoting our tax services. * Maintain organized records of all tax documents, correspondence, and compliance documentation. **Qualifications** * No prior professional tax preparation or accounting experience required; comprehensive training is provided. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data entry. * Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn professional tax preparation software. * Strong organizational and time\-management skills. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to follow instructions, established procedures, and compliance requirements. * Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks. * Comfortable engaging with potential clients and promoting tax preparation services. * High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to protecting confidential taxpayer information. * Bilingual applicants are welcome, including Spanish, French, and Creole speakers. **Training \& Compensation** Comprehensive pre\-season training is provided to selected candidates. This opportunity is commission\-based. Tax preparers earn **60% of qualifying tax preparation fees for returns they prepare**, subject to the Remote Tax Express Independent Contractor Agreement. Compensation is not an hourly wage and will vary based on completed qualifying tax returns.
