Job Description:WE WELCOME REMOTE U.S.-BASED CANDIDATESAs our new Technology Strategy Director, you will report to the Senior Director/ VP, Technology Strategy, and partner with other senior leaders, analysts and managers on each project. You will be called to master our frameworks and develop an advanced understanding of how the entire marketing technology stack comes together to promote our client's vision. You will work across industries with subject matter experts and expertise to come together in sound consulting deliverables informing planning, main decisions and technical implementations. You Will:Provide expertise, vendor knowledge, and industry best practices across digital technology components including: Identity Resolution, Data Management and Architecture, Analytics/ Measurement & Reporting, Artificial Intelligence and Modeling, Audience Management, Testing and Optimization, Content Management and Delivery, Channel Personalization, Demand Generation, and AdTech Connect technology capability goals to our needs and build compelling stories to explain valueBuild relationships and manage client expectations by facilitating and driving client meetings and discussionsLead daily delivery efforts partnering with the engagement team members to complete materials in PowerPoint, excel (can maintain spreadsheets), and Lucidchart.Lead discovery meetings with clients, new partners, vendors or subject matter experts taking notes, gathering documentation and identifying follow-upsBring an industry-leading perspective / POV about an important area of the customer experience technology stack and create expertiseProvide opinions and recommendations in all manner of marketing-related technology use casesLead consulting engagements by building the storytelling and developing recommendations for how to best use information and technology to guide programs across all channels and mediaManage consulting analysts to guide work product development, coach storytelling skills, and educate on technology capabilitiesLeverage existing frameworks and gather important assets and materials Oversee internal projects to improve the offerings and capabilities of the team including bringing new consulting engagements to leadership for considerationDevelop materials to illustrate and educate teams on how CX technology components work together to support evolved customer experiencesSupport business development opportunities across variety of industries as a technology strategy subject matter expert (SME) or finding opportunities within existing clientsYou Have:10+ years of experience consulting within technology or marketing OR 10+ years of experience working in a digital agency operating marketing technology in a specific field Senior knowledge of Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) technical concepts, customer experience technology, including loyalty, service, commerce, content, analytics and cloud technologiesExpert knowledge in a focused capability or capabilities around relational databases, customer data integration, analytic modeling, campaign management, content management, commerce, loyalty, messaging, service and business intelligence systems will be evaluatedExperience managing people and leading a diverse teamExpert proficiency in excel (can maintain spreadsheets), PowerPoint, Lucidchart, Miro and Vizio Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Ability to travel for clients up to 25% Additional Qualifications (It's advantageous if you have these!):Deep understanding and proficiency in how a technology ecosystem works and is implemented to be used by marketing/business teams, including platforms such as, Email Service Platform, CDP, Digital Asset Manager, Data Lake, or ID Resolution technology. This should include major requirements for successful implementation and the problems a technology is built to resolve. It may also include an understanding of different vendors for a technology and how they each provide unique solutions in the larger marketplace for the technologySuccess in leading consulting work for clients and providing presentations and deliverables to a clientDemonstrated experience in testing, expanding, and correcting one's personal knowledge of a topic to improve existing skillsDesire to understand client systems and challenges naturally enough to provide insightful, nuanced, and recommendations specific to the client.The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$158,000.
