Accounting & Finance operations specialist

MissionEnsure reliable accounting operations while continuously improving finance processes and tools. This role combines solid accounting fundamentals with a strong focus on automation, efficiency, and modern finance systems.Beyond running accounting processes, the mission is also to continuously improve how finance operates by simplifying workflows, leveraging modern tools, and reducing manual work across the finance stack.ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Closing (60%)Manage monthly and annual closing processesRecord and review accounting entries (sales, purchases, payroll, banks)Maintain deferred revenue schedules and related adjustmentsManage accounting provisions (FNP, CCA, bonuses, paid leave)Reconcile balance sheet accountsPrepare closing documentation and support annual auditEnsure consistency between billing systems and accounting dataProcure-to-PayReview and validate supplier invoices through our spend management tool (Spendesk)Ensure proper accounting treatment of vendor invoicesPrepare and execute supplier payment runsMaintain accurate accounts payable balances and vendor follow-upCash managementMonitor company cash position and short-term liquidity needsPrepare payment schedules and coordinate with supplier payment runsOptimize idle cash through short-term placements such as term deposits (DAT)Contribute to treasury monitoring and cash forecastingTax & compliance (20%)Prepare and review monthly VAT returns (France)Prepare OSS / MOSS VAT reporting when applicablePrepare DES declarations for intra-EU servicesMonitor international tax topics related to SaaS activityPrepare annual tax declarations (CVAE, other applicable taxes)Ensure proper documentation of tax calculations and filingsCoordinate with tax advisors when neededFinance Operations & Automation (20%)Identify opportunities to reduce manual accounting workImprove finance workflows and documentationAutomate recurring finance tasks when possibleSupport implementation of new finance toolsParticipate in the migration to a modern accounting platform Explore the use of AI and automation tools to streamline finance operationsCollaborate with Finance, Data and Operations teams to improve finance processesHelp structure finance data for reporting and analysisRequirementsAt Livestorm, we believe that diversity's got talent!
